Every 3 hours unruly passengers threaten your safety

Air accidents are still extremely rare.

But I met a retired pilot, who told me it would take a tragedy to change the rules on airport and on-flight drinking.

Latest industry figures show there were almost 10,000 in-flight ‘unruly passenger incidents’. These included violence against crew members and other passengers, harassment and failure to follow safety instructions.

In many cases, this criminal behaviour resulted in flight delays, diversions, and inconvenience.

No-one wants to spend a couple of hours at 35,000 feet fretting about the behaviour of other passengers. Flight safety is everyone’s responsibility.

Here’s how one of Safer Tourism’s supporters took steps to avoid a possible unruly passenger incident:   #notonmyflight
